A new setting book has been released for the 4th edition of D&D game. It takes us to the near future where the modern world goes under great changes and the old fantasies of mankind returns. This radical change starts when two magical gates open and lets all magical power flowing again through the veins of this world. But unlike the world of Shadowrun where the people learn how to use magic in modern life, there is a great conflict between the magic users and scientists. That conflict leads to a new world order where there is a constant conflict and antagonistic opposition between walled cities with skyscrapers and the wilderness of magical societies where humans and faes live together. The book has a solid layout with dense texts and without images or pictures except the outside margin. The art work is very nice and demanding. Overall it is a very ambitious and good work.
