Recently I was finally able to get my hands on Borderlands 2, I cracked it open and played through a bit, first thing I found that confused me was a particular Golden Box in Sanctuary, and it said I couldn't afford to open it! I was confused, what was this? Some silly ploy to buy from the marketplace? Alas my questions were soon answered, and I found that these little keys we need are giveaways, so I've decided to help post these for RPG.org fans who may be unaware! The Golden chest gives you rare weapons, (Purple! Orange being the next highest.) and always purple weapons (as far as I know, I've never gotten anything else and between my fiance and I we've redeemed over a dozen keys.) and shields. I've tested all the key-codes and all but one ended up working for me, however I did them only on PS3, so you guys will have to be the judge of what actually works and what doesn't. I'll try to keep this page constantly updated, so bookmark it! (Also if you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, we will update those when we see new keys!)   Don't know how to redeem them? Let me walk you through it (PS3 Only.) First obviously log into the game, then you'll head to "Extras" and "Shift Codes". (Already have an account? Great just sign in!) If you don't, read on! From there, just click each agreement type and it will automatically checkmark it, then move onto the next step of putting in your e-mail and your password. You do not need to confirm your e-mail to redeem keys. (I suggest you still use your email though!) And then when you are in press square, and bam! Get yourself some keys.
