I haven’t had the chance to get around to a full review of Drinking Quest 2, but I assure you it was worth it. With each series this card-rpg-drinking game gets better, I have my opinions of different things that the game may use but from Drinking Quest 1 and the jump to Drinking Quest 2 the game improved, if you haven’t read my review then this is a game based on–you guessed it–drinking. Though the game can be modified and played without drinking, this is a pretty good cross between card games like Munchkin and Fluxx and DnD, giving you monsters to fight, quests to fulfill, and swill to be drank! Don’t worry if you haven’t played the first two, each game can be played as a stand alone game.
Drinking Quest is now on Indiegogo, if you haven’t heard of it, it is very similar to kickstarter. Check it out here. They are attempting to release their third game, Nectar of the Gods! They have many backing options, including the “Dealer package” for anyone who might own their own store. And hey, donate enough and you can get your name tattooed on his body. So get out there and check it out!
At a young age my mother owned a gaming store, she always let me be apart of running it in my own way, and even before that I sat at the dnd table with the adults eating the dice and stomping on figurines. Gaming and tabletop rpgs are in my blood, to this day I've grown up to get into a relationship with a man aspiring to write the next big tabletop game. Some things you're good at, other things, you're born with!
