A new sourcebook for Rogue Trader has been announced by Fantasy Flight Games. Due to release at the first quarter of 2012, Rogue Trader: The Koronus Bestiary will be filled with bloodthirsty monsters and vile xenos.

Fantasy Flight Games announced a new sourcebook for the Warhammer 40.000 Rouge Trader roleplaying-game. Rogue Trader: The Koronus Bestiary will be released sometime in the first quarter of 2012, and include an unlimited number adversaries to face.

The book wil be filled with opponents, like bloodthirsty monsters, vile xenos, unholy daemons, and other dangers that fill the uncharted regions of the Koronus Expanse and the Void. And, we may add that there are many uncharted regions in the Expanse, as for every imperial world there is a dozen more to explore. In the book we receive art and descriptions for a range of foes, including Shadowkith, Thornmaws, Void Krakens and many more in addition to the many adventure seeds and plot hooks included in the book.

Rogue Trader: The Koronus Bestiary will be divided into four chapters, each concentrating on a different kind of opposition. The first chapter offers detailed information on the deadliest monsters in the Expanse. In the second chapter, we get to know everything about the different hostile xenos races, like the devious Stryxis, bloodthirsty Orks, treacherous Eldar, ferocious Rak’Gol, and more. Chapter three presents an entirely different sort of threat, as foul war spawn could be as dangerous to the soul as to the body. The fourth, and final chapter will include a new xenos generator, which will enable Game Masters to produce unique beasts, dangerous plant life and even primitive sentient races.

We don't know an exact release date yet, but as soon as more information is available we will share it with our readers.
