The Ghost King available in July

By on June 18, 2010

The Ghost King is the third novel from the Transitions triology by R.A.Salvatore. That’s rigth, Drizzt is back (like the 100th time), and Cadderly from the Cleric Quintet series is here to help again! Seriously i don’t know what people see in this series, but it’s true, the first 2 triology was awesome. But maybe there are fans out there, so the release date is 07/06/2010!

From wizards.com:

Drizzt Do’Urden has travelled a long and dangerous road since he first emerged from the Underdark into a strange new world, a world that distrusted, even hated him, on first sight. But as months became years, and years became decades, Drizzt carved out a place for himself, and gathered around him friends that soon became a family. But families, like all things, have a season.

The demonic Crystal Shard was shattered years ago by the fiery breath of a titanic red dragon, and the dragon itself was destroyed. But as the disembodied spirit of a long-disintegrated mind flayer discovers, the Spellplague brings many changes. Together they are the Ghost King, and revenge is this godlike creature’s only goal.

Disaster has come to the world of the Forgotten Realms. Walls of blue fire streak across the land, leaving unimaginable change in their wake. Many die, some are forever altered, and others are awakened. With old enemies made whole, and old friends lying broken, Drizzt will have to find every last friend he has left, even an unlikely old enemy, if he is to survive in a world turned upside down.

The final installment in the epic Transitions trilogy, The Ghost King follows eight years after the end of The Pirate King, and brings shocking changes to the Legend of Drizzt. Cadderly, and other characters from the recently-reissued Cleric Quintet series, join the fight against a daunting evil. With this book, the Realms change forever.
