Did you hear the news ? It seems that after vampires, another brand receive the 20th Anniversary treatment from White Wolf : Werewolf the Apocalypse - 20th Anniversary Edition is under development.

It's not a joke or a rumor : Werewolf the Apocalypse - 20th Anniversary Edition will be a reality. They at White Wolf are only at the beginning of the project, bot a write-up about the planned 13 full page arts fro the twelve different Garou tribes plus Stargazers is already available at White Wolf's blog, here. It's already known, that iconic characters like Mari Cabrah, Margrave Konietzko and Lord Albrecht will definitely make their appearance on those pictures.

Last year Vampire: The Masquerade - 20th Anniversary Edition became a real success which appealed to many old vampire fans. I really wish, that they will have the same success with the Garou !

To those who don't know Werewolf the Apocalypse there is the story in a nutshell : In the game werewolves (the Garou) are the servants of Gaia, tasked with saving the world from the coming Apocalypse. They fight evil mystical beings, corrupted corporations and sometimes even their own primal urges in a game which is both deep, spiritual and extensively brutal. For more detailed information you may check the Wikipedia articles, which also includes articles on all Garou tribes.

You may also check this excellent article from Michael Holland on examiner.com.

Currently I have no idea about a release date for this product, but I will keep an eye on this title.
