  So, how could an RPG won ? Simply put, Skyrim is a very detailed game, with several steps before the competition. It's includes a very extensive world, which maybe could be compared with Fallout 3, and includes unprecedented player immersion in it.

  You have a vast continent to explore, where your interactions shape the world. There are no two place which feels the same, and the same true for the quests. Oh, and when we speak about quests, I have to note that you could get many, which are both meaningfull, and help you toward to explore tha vast world around you.

  And there is more in Skyrim : the combat is very unique, as you may use weapons, spells, shields and any combination as you wish, deciding hand by hand what to use. The combination of weapons and magic offers a lot of tactical options. The setting is filled with conflict: there is a civil war going on, and the ancient dragons awaken to engulf the world in dragon-fire.
