Mutants & Masterminds Power Profile: Armor Powers is a new short 5 page supplement forthe 3rd edition of the game as a part of the new Power Profile series, what we mentioned in our earlier article about Green Ronin‘s plans for 2012. It seems they have a very tight release schedule, as the first Power Profile about fire powers was released only several days ago.
What is this series about ?
In this series Steve Kenson provides highly valuable insight about specific superhero powers. For every power he looks at the different effects, hindrances and abilities associated with the chosen topic, and put those into game terms with Mutants & Masterminds 3rd edition.
So he puts together different powers and modifiers based on the Hero’s Handbook, providing help to players and game masters to easily incorporate and simulate the patricular effects in the game, be they offensive, defensive, utility or travel effects.
In the case of an advanced armor this covers weapon systems, defense systems (active and passive), propulsion, communications, sensors and enhanced physical abilities above others, and many more. Thankfully the price is also cheap, so if you are a player who want to get some ideas on your new Iron Man lookalike there is no better place to look at.
